For more than a decade, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution’s “Top Workplaces” award has helped top organizations stand out in the city’s growing workforce. To our delight, Calendly was recently honored at the event at the Georgia Aquarium.
This comes just after a recognition from Forbes, which ranks Calendly among the Best Startup Employers in America.
This is the 2nd consecutive year Calendly has been recognized as one of Atlanta’s top employers by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
To qualify, participants had to excel in several key areas, including organizational health and workplace culture. The anonymous, third-party study also measured detailed factors like employee engagement, company leadership, and compensation.
Over 3,000 companies were considered for this year’s award.
“Calendly is a special company,” said Kelly Minella, Head of Recruiting at Calendly.
“As we grow, we want to hold onto these award-winning elements of our company culture. The fundamental way we do that is by hiring the right people.”
Founded in 2013, Calendly now has over 120 employees in its Atlanta headquarters.
Calendly is among the most promising startup companies in its home state of Georgia, as well as the SaaS industry at large.
“It’s great to know Calendly is one of the top companies in Atlanta,” said Calendly CEO Tope Awotona.
“We’re proud to represent our city and this industry by employing outstanding Georgians, and by bringing outside talent to our city.”
“Calendly’s culture is purposeful,” said Tope Awotona, “but it only thrives if employees maintain it.”
“Credit goes to them for continuing to foster an amazing culture here, and accepting new talent into the tribe.”
Calendly continues to hire for their offices in Midtown Atlanta.
