Sometimes when you’re scheduling meetings there are a few dates that require special rules. Let’s say on Thursdays you want to offer a lot of availability, but next Thursday, only a couple hours (or none at all).
In addition to Calendly’s weekly availability, you can now drill down to specific dates and offer exactly the times that you want to be made available.
- New visual UI for setting your availability
- Date-specific rules
- Distribute team members into shifts
- iCloud Calendar integration
Let’s dig in…
New visual interface
When you’re editing your availability, you’ll notice that there is now a visual representation of your availability intervals.
You can click on any of these intervals to edit your availability for that day of the week. You can also adjust or add new intervals by clicking and dragging, all without touching your keyboard.
In addition to setting your recurring availability, you can now edit rules for specific dates. Just click on the date you’d like to edit and add that date’s availability.
You can choose to add availability specific to that date OR make that date unavailable.
Distribute team members into shifts
For teams using round robin or collective team event types, you can now distribute your team members into shifts.
This means one Calendly link can be used to schedule for your entire team, no matter where they are or when they are available.
iCloud Calendar integration
And finally, Calendly has an iCloud Calendar integration! If your primary calendar is with iCloud Calendar (formerly iCal), Calendly can now connect with it to check for free/busy times. New events booked through Calendly will automatically get added to it as well.
You can find common iCloud Calendar questions here.
We are so excited to roll this out so even more of you can enjoy using Calendly to schedule your meetings!
More to come
