Product update: Now you can request payments with our Stripe integration

Simplify billing and reduce no-shows with an integrated Stripe account.

We are excited to offer a payment integration on our Pro plan. Now your invitees can submit full or even partial payments securely when they schedule an event with you. Just connect your Stripe account by visiting the integrations page on your Calendly account menu to start requesting payment with any event type—whether it’s one-on-one, group, collective or round robin.

Collecting payment during scheduling reduces the billing process to one step. Invitees are shown purchase details and asked for their credit card number and expiration date as they confirm their event time. Stripe will email a receipt to your invitee, and payment will be automatically routed to your associated account.

Display the confirmation page in the way that makes the most sense for your business and include your own payment and refund terms. Currently, payments are accepted in US Dollars and language is displayed in English. More payment options are planned, so stay tuned!

I’ve been waiting for this ability for quite a long time and am disappointed that it didn’t begin with PayPal. I’m not a Stripe user and may be incorrect but believe PayPal has a larger user base. Is Paypal integration in the plans and if so when is it scheduled?

    • would be also like to see a paypal integration. In Germany, not a lot of people have credit cards.

    • Calendly

Hi Uber Bill & Paul –

Thank you for providing this suggestion! We are planning to release more payment options in the future. We appreciate your patience in the process and we will be sure to announce new options as soon as they are available!

  • Dave Coker

I’m not a Stripe user. I have Square. How do their charges compare?

  • Frank Trotman

Is there a way to add a coupon code for a discount to what they pay?

    • Calendly

      Hi Frank –

That is a good question! Could you email support@calendly.com with this question? That way we can exchange more characters and give you the best possible answer!

      • Roman Dovgopol

As of now, an alternative would be to create a secret event (accessible via a code) and charge a different (lower) amount there.

  • BB

Is there a capability for Venmo? Many of my customers are on the Dave Ramsey system and prefer to pay cash.

    • Calendly

      Hi BB –

We don’t currently support Venmo but we will keep it in mind as we consider other payment options! Thank you for your input.

Please feel free to email support@calendly.com if you have any other questions!

I just want to be different from the other commenters and say that Stripe is all I use and I love it. Thank you for this update! 🙂
